ABOUT
About Nofred
Nofred makes furniture, storage, lighting, textiles and wallpapers for children's rooms, organised into collections such as Cube, Mouse, Kiddo and Form. Its design brief is straightforward: furniture at a child's scale, with storage low enough for a child to manage alone and forms simple enough to sit comfortably in a family living space. The range spans chairs, tables, benches, shelving, step stools, book holders, lamps, blankets and wallpaper, so a room can be furnished from a single palette. Nofred also publishes a journal on family life and keeps a page for professionals.
Why it stands out
Storage is treated as furniture a child can use independently: pieces kept low and easy to handle, alongside chairs, desks, lighting and textiles.
