ABOUT
About KUKUU
Architect Aija Priede-Sietina and designer Daneks Sietins developed KUKUU after struggling to find coordinated children's furniture that combined functional design, ecological materials, durability and child safety. Product development is described as being informed by observing their daughters' needs and habits.
Why it stands out
Coordinated birch furniture includes an extendable bed and a dresser whose changing tray can be removed for later use.
DESIGN NOTES
KUKUU children's furniture design
KUKUU combines simple forms with practical child-focused details. The bird&berry collection uses recognizable sloping elements, while join me products commonly pair natural birch with white surfaces and incorporate removable, adaptable or storage-oriented components.
