ABOUT
About FLEXA
FLEXA states that it has designed children's furniture in Denmark since 1972. The range is organised around beds and bed systems rather than single pieces: first beds, bunk beds and loft beds, with under-bed storage, drawers and study elements that can be added to the same frame, together with shelving and wardrobes. Materials include birch and oak, and the forms stay plain and Scandinavian so that a room can be reworked rather than refurnished as a child grows. FLEXA sells directly through its own online shop and delivers across a group of European countries.
Why it stands out
Bed systems are the core of the range: pieces designed to be combined and reconfigured as a child moves from a first bed to a shared room.
DESIGN NOTES
FLEXA children's furniture design
Danish Modern heritage meets functional minimalism, blending natural wood, clean lines, and neutral tones. Pieces focus on space-saving practicality and light-maximizing aesthetics tailored for contemporary urban apartments.
