ABOUT
About Elysta
Elysta began with a cloud-shaped bed made for the founders' daughter Elyne, whose name combines with Stan's to give the brand its name, and since 2017 the founders have designed, made and repaired wooden children's furniture in their own workshop in Andenne, Belgium. The collection includes observation towers, Montessori and cabin beds, storage, bookshelves, tables, chairs and gross motor play modules, and the workshop also takes on custom furniture. Forms are designed at child height to encourage independent use, using birch plywood with water-based finishes safe for children.
Why it stands out
Small-scale local production is the point: Elysta designs, makes and repairs its own furniture in Andenne, from plywood and child-safe water-based finishes.
